Oscar Wilde is one of my all time favorite writers, that opening paragraph just melts in your mouth. This is a classic favorite of mine that I return to regularly.

A young twink realizes the power of his beauty and youth
Jk but only sorta
This book should alternatively be called the Depravity of Henry Wotton. What a rotten character. Such an interesting concept for the plot, and Wilde includes so much of his signature paradoxical satire. Sometimes it gets to be too much but overall very thoughtful and interesting for his only novel.
Who of us hasn't wished to hold onto our youth and beauty forever. F getting old!!!!!

It's a really great book! Can't really articulate my opinions but it's well written and while it is a bit boring in the start/middle I find it gets really fun near the end!
