i would have given this book 5 stars if it wasn’t for the most unnecessary drama that happened in the last few chapters like ugh so disappointing

This book was so generic - Poor girl with a heart of gold and rich boy with trust issues. It's another one where I can already feel it leaving my brain. The book did not need to be that long and the angst was really forced. There was an obvious solution. Also, if it's listed as a romantic comedy, I expect some laughs! Nada!

The only nice thing I have to say is that it was refreshing to have MCs in their late 30s and early 40s (even though they didn't act like it).
