How can you not love the Mitford books? Love Father Tim and all of the Mitford peeps!

2.5 stars. The literary equivalent of a Hallmark movie, which is fine if you are into that sort of thing, but I'm not. :)

This is book #2 in the Mitford series. And yes, it continues to be predictably perfect and I continue to love it. There is just something comforting about the books, reading stories about hunkering down by the fire amidst a blizzard, and knowing that each story line will end with 'happily ever after' and stumbling upon hymns and scripture verses as you read. It's a far, far cry from reality, but why else read right?! (I'm already over 100 pages into book #3...)
