Loved this book. It was the perfect fall read. Perfect mix of spooky and romance.
This was an interesting take on Incubi. Set in a kind of Gothic setting complete with a dark mansion and creepy statues, this book embarks on a life changing event to a lonely art curator named Madelyn. This story has that dark creepy vibe that is perfectly mixed with heated sexual tension. The story is not long and gets to the point rather quickly. I loved the story and almost wish it was a tad bit longer, but if it was it would have just drawn it out. The author gets to the point rather quickly leaving no room for mega drama. It paints a beautiful light on a mythical monster otherwise known as a demon. It truly is a sweet and beautiful story with a bit of heat mixed in. Can't wait to see what the second book in the series will be like.
The Art Collector is a very satisfying read! It has a gothic feel to it! And yes there's even a creepy mansion with a creaky gate, cobwebs and family drama! Told from both points of views you can't help but get invested in the characters! It has a little bit of the beauty and the beast feel to it! But it's definitely a one sitting read!
The Art Collector by Katelyn Brehm is a paranormal romance novella that blends intrigue, mystery, and romance into a concise, engaging read in a wonderfully gothic setting. Set against the backdrop of Milwaukee, the story revolves around Madelyn Frye, an art historian, and Thomas von Dreiss, a mysterious millionaire with a dark secret. As Madelyn is brought in to appraise his paintings, she finds herself drawn into a world where passion and the supernatural intertwine.

While the Gothic setting and art background isn't entirely my setting, this was a lovely read on a rainy afternoon! Lush descriptions and characters that are well fleshed out, which is an impressive feat in a novella
This little novella was the perfect read to spend my afternoon with. The Art Collector was short and sweet with just the right amount of steam and fun paranormal twist.

Novellas are hit or miss for me and this one didn’t totally work. Not enough character depth/development. An interesting idea for a book.
This book was so good. I just needed more! Haha. This was a novella, so I knew what to expect, but this story packed a big punch even though it was short. Thomas and Madelyn had a beautiful connection, and sparks flew from their first interaction. If you are seeking a quick, captivating, and sensually charged read, I highly recommend considering this novella.
✨ARC Review✨
I loved Madelyn and Thomas together! Both of them are lonely and want more out of life but they have not found the one yet.
When she gets a job to work on the estate he has inherited. Their connection off back is drawing.
The description of the mansion easily transformed me as if I was there walking through it myself.
Thomas is very rich and handsome but full of mystery and more. We watch how these two characters grow and bring life back to each other’s lives.
Thank you Netgalley for the EARC! As always, my review is my opinion and thoughts. This review will be shared on my Instagram (@Alexandriavwilliams_) shortly.

Sultry paranormal romance! Madelyn and Thomas have a fantastic story. Although short, this novella packs a punch. The prose adds a level of depth with descriptive words. I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read more from the author!
