This book takes place throughout Anne's college career. More fun adventures (though not as many as in the earlier books) and silly romance. I still love Anne. She's becoming more serious but is till full of fun. I literally have NO idea, now, where the ideas for the Anne of Avonlea movie came from because this book had nothing I remember from the movies. I don't mind this, obviously, but remain curious where the movie writers/director got ideas!! Definitely going to read more/the rest in the series. Spoiler alert (but not really): Excited Anne finally figured out she loves Gilbert.

Itching I enjoyed this book just as much as the others. They are lots of fun but still have their poignant moments. I enjoy the characters and writing. The stories are very comforting to me while travelling.

I really liked this one. The book covers four years of time, so the story goes fast. The writing is gorgeous, as usual.

me ha gustado mucho, no sé, las últimas 20 pags casi me da un chungo se ha puesto la cosa tensa pero bueno bien

This was a delightful re-read from my youth. I haven't read these since I was a teenager and I loved reacquainting myself with the characters that aren't in the movies. L.M. Montgomery was a genius inventor of characters!

Still possibly my favorite line in any book ever is near the end of this one. Really enjoying this series.

SIMPLESMENTE INCRÍVEL. não sei nem o que dizer. o amor vence o tempo mesmo.

liked this one slightly less than the first but more than the second ~ the back and forth between avonlea and patty's place kept things interesting/fresh, loved the new characters, and the ending was so satisfying ~ 8/10
