Another great novel by Morris. The stories are so heartfelt and interesting. You feel for every single person involved. I will continue reading her books.

I enjoyed reading this follow up to the Tattooist of Auschwitz. It’s an interesting story detailing the horror of going from a German concentration camp to a Soviet prison in Siberia. The author is up front that there is a lot of fiction. While it held my attention and I always wanted to read the next page, so much seemed unrealistic.

This book had me sobbing at several points. What a story of survival.
