This book is absolutely hilarious! A satirical mocking of the conservative views, this book takes their most illogical arguments and makes them even funnier with cat puns that are just purrfect for the humor. Anyone looking for a great humorous book, look no further.

I'm giving this 2 stars solely because of the cute cat pictures. Otherwise this is a hate filled, extremely right wing skewed book that lacks the humor and charm I expected from the title.
The reason that satire is funny is that it mocks true life. I was very confused about who he was mocking. I kept thinking, “he does know that libertarian anti government people and boomer republicans are not the same people, doesn’t he?” He at one point makes a joke about how the right believes in Big Pharma because the drugs are made by white people. Which falls totally flat, because large swaths of conservatives don’t trust big Pharma. That being said, I did laugh several times. He’s clearly a funny author. I just don’t think the satire is great.
I got this book as a gag gift for Christmas and just finally decided to read it for a BINGO board I'm doing with my book group. It gave me a few chuckles but it was too political/conservative for my tastes.
This book is hilarious and also depressing. It's funny until you realize that people actually try to use many of the arguments within the book and they aren't joking. This books counts for Popsugar 2020 for a "book with a title that caught my attention".
