Somewhat interesting world-building, with hearts as gems that are worth money and are different colors depending on the sort of love the person is in. I really dislike the names of the characters. The main issue is that I hate the art style.

Oh boyyy, nostalgia hits me like a bitch.
Rereading this reminds me of the time when 8yo Amina was discovering mangas and was falling in love with Saint Seiya and a lot of dumb shojos I don't regret reading.
Chocolat used to be my role model when I was a kid. Yes, her name is Chocolat and lmao she's kinda stupid but I still love her.
First volume out of eight: 3.5 stars
Great introductions of the characters & world-building but the art style is messy and sometimes, the layout is quite overwhelming. However, the story is cute and everything is adorable.

I read this when I was in middle school and it was one of my favorite series! I’m pretty sure they stopped printing and producing copies of this around the time I got into high school so I wasn’t sure I would be able to find any copies! I got really lucky and was able to find the first three used online and they’re even better than I remember! I absolutely love the art style and the characters are so cute and have such interesting arcs! I’m so excited to read the next one.
