For any fans looking to expand the world of Bleach, this is the go to! It takes place half a year after the main story line and adds so much more context to what we already know.

It being the only one of the three light novel series being officially licensed in English, it is a great read with a cast or returning fan favorites.

This book takes place immediately after the Thousand Year Blood War arc in Bleach. It's not recommended you read this before finishing that arc.
Overall, this was a fast-paced continuation that follows Shuhei in his job as editor in chief of the Seireitei Bulletin as he delves into a story about the aristocracy of the Soul Society. This is more of a set up and it definitely seems like the story will be leaning more into the political aspects of the Soul Society which is fitting for this novel format.
