A beautiful read for the beginning of summer. The three storylines feel like they could truly be happening at the same time in the same place. Barbara Kingsolver’s writing style brings her vast knowledge of the natural world to life. I was immersed in the lives of all the creatures and people of the Zebulon Valley. Human nature and the natural world are explained, explored and intertwined with beautiful prose. So much grace in this book - for bugs, animals, plants, trees, and people.
