I'm sorry, how could you not love such an epic? Of course, I read this book in school and thus under time constraints I did not get to fully appreciate Swift, but I love Lilliput... and that's all that really matters.

I think that this book is great. It is fun to read as a whole, but each of the four parts can be read by themselves. Very interesting and funny; lovely for a book in the “canon”

Though I'm sure I didn't catch all the irony and satire in the book, I did very much enjoy the bits I was able to catch. I love Swift's style of writing and I especially loved Part Four of the book, when Gulliver has completely lost it; it makes for quite the revealing commentary on human nature!

I adore this book so damn much! I wish I could write satire like Swift but I'd settle for his analytic powers.
