I buddy read half of this with @borrowedbyaudrey (IG) and I'm really glad I read it!
As a 33-year-old who is still reeling from friendship breakups, miscommunications, and hurt feelings over past para-social and offline friendships, I found this book incredibly informative, forcing me to reflect on my own connections and my role in them. I think anyone, at any age, could benefit from reading this and learning about how little research there is in friendship, and how little value society places in platonic connections. I had such a lovely, pensive time reading this and highly recommend it.

I don’t know the authors or their podcast so I wasn’t personally invested in their story, but I liked the sociological information about friendships. A lot of their background mirrored some of my experiences: DC, friends moving away, so I liked that it brought up some of my own friendship memories.
