Oh Killian! I loved him from start to finish! This author just amazes me more and more with every book she writes. This one was no different, she manages to add so much feeling to her words, if you've not read anything by her yet you should fix that oversight immediately! This book can be read as a standalone but its better and more cohesive to read Liam's book first (Beautifully Cruel). Tough as nails Jules has SERIOUS trust issues and it takes alot to get her to give that trust to Killian. His drive and single mindedness to get that piece of Jules that she held back from EVERYONE was SO worthwhile to watch. Both of them initially had some pretty big walls up but that just made it infinitely more satisfying when they were able to get to that point. I loved the push and pull, their banter, and OF COURSE the steam! They were fire together and left me with a big smile after their HEA. I LOVE this author, she's just so good at taking me into her stories!

This book has now made me a firm believer in reading order. When I got to see the cameos of the people we learned to love in the first book, my heart warmed. I read Liars Like Us prior to my binge of this series and when it hit me that we saw peeks of this series in that one, I immediately went back and read some parts. Just like the previous book, this one was just amazing. JT Geissinger writing is just perfection, you just never want to stop reading. We start with our group of badass girls robbing this warehouse for diapers, we soon learn that it is Killian’s warehouse in question. It is hard to tell you parts of this story without spoiling the previous story but let’s just say Killian is not who he says he is. Once he figures out that our FMC, Juliet, is a philanthropist thief, he can’t control is attraction. This man y’all, he absolutely takes no for an answer when it only comes to her. Seeing his self control when she sets her boundaries is so adorable, I wish wish wish we had more of his perspective. Throughout this story, we see secrets unraveled and danger thrown in their way. You see two people desperately wanting to give themselves over to the other but can’t. When they give in, ah it is everything. The ending wasn’t my absolutely favorite. If you read this book, you know but DIEGO??? HUH?? and the dad agreeing for one phone call??? If you want a story with lovable side characters, morally grey characters, impeccable banter and spice, and little bit of danger.

This was a cute little mafia romance. An enjoyable, fun and spicy read.
