4 stars!

I love this series more with each book I read. I don't ever want it to end- even though I know I only have two books left :(

My interest in Connor and Rose has been fluctuating throughout this series. At first I loved them, then they were just "ok" and now I am back to loving them! I feel like this book really helped me understand (and love) both Connor and Rose.

It is so hard to describe how much these characters have grown on me. I wasn't a super-fan of this series when I started it. But, the authors have really brought these complex characters to life with fabulous writing and story lines. I absolutely love every one of them! I can't even pick my favorite couple anymore. I love them all. #TeamAllofThem.

I'm looking forward to the last 2 books in the series. I can't wait to see what is in store for this gang!

books rarely make me cry and i cried, rose and connor… you have my heart

rose and connor cobalt

the last coballoway book, i’m emotional! i love my couple of geniuses so bad i wanna cry.
their banter is 5/5…… just what i love hehe.

this was a very fulfilling book, it gave us so many emotional moments between coballoway, but also kinda fortified all the core six relationships, which is one of the reasons why i love this series so much. it’s not only about the couples, it’s about family!

“You know when you asked me to do this with you?” I say softly while he drives back to my childhood house. He nods once. “I think I fell in love with you all over again,” I admit. This is something I would have chosen. Without a second thought. To protect the people I love. Years ago, Connor would have laughed at those words. Love. It meant nothing to him. Now it’s guiding his choices.

-

“You’re demanding when you want to be.” He almost raises the glass to his lips again but I speak quickly. “And you’re so brilliant and attractive; it becomes maddening”—my heart pumps faster—“ that someone like you exists, and that you should be here in our bedroom, that we should share a bedroom at all—it’s unreal and the most fulfilling life I could ever think to dream.” I whisper, “I’m tragically in love with you, and I wouldn’t want it any other way.”

-

“We flirted for years, and you never called me your boyfriend.” Her mouth falls and eyes flame. “What we did wasn’t flirting.” I arch a brow. “When I was seventeen you said you wanted to perform an autopsy on me, to crack open my ribcage and squeeze my heart until it burst between your fingers.” What is that—if not flirting?

-

How do you measure love? Is it by the things we’re willing to do? By the sacrifices we’re willing to make? If it is—then I love my daughter madly because I would cripple my world to give her something to stand on. I would implode Cobalt Inc. if I had to, the foolish choice. But a wise woman once said that love is worth every foolish choice we make.

-

“Mommy’s going to dropkick anyone that touches you.” “And Daddy’s going to bail Mommy out of jail,” Connor says, placing tiny blue earplugs in my palm.

-

“You know you’re a kickass mom, right?” I think he’s trying to make me cry. “I’m pretty sure you would rip out your hair for my son too.” I have to wipe my eyes again. “I would,” I whisper beneath my breath. I would over and over again. Lily adds, “I know that you’d love Moffy as fiercely as you love Jane.” She wipes her nose that drips with her tears. She sniffs. “And we’d be at peace knowing he’s with you.”

-

“When I look deeply into your eyes, I see more than just three years of our marriage,” I profess. “I see ten, thirty, fifty, sixty years with you, and I see us returning to this place. I see us old and at the end of our lifelines, staring out at this water, on this bridge—as consumed by love as we’re tragically consumed now.”

-

There are rare people who will fuel the fire inside of you, who will awaken a dormant passion, who will challenge you, who will push you and better you. She alone is my rarity.

i love rose!!!! best character. I don’t think i can put myself through another book all about Daisy/ryke, but i desperately want to read the last book 🫨🫨

Beautiful. Heart-wretching. Passionate. Emotional. Intelligent. Funny. All encompassing.

Ugh this series. It holds such a special place in my heart.

Have never read anything more perfect than this. Never have and never will. Every scene was so well written and felt so so real to me. I know that the epilogue wasn't the end but I don't know why it feels like it. If I'm like this right now I wonder how I'll be when I read some kind of perfect. I'll be full on sobbing.
