Exactly as a mafia story should be.
I loved it. Rival families, allied families, danger alliances and more.
Illias Konstantin is ruler and Pakhan of Russia and parts of the US. He’s dangerous, runs his empire with an iron fist and does what needs to be done to maintain control and keep his enemies trembling at his name. He’s gorgeous, sexy and has women falling at his feet. But he only has eyes for one woman.
Tatiana Nikolaev is the darling of the family. Raised in the mafia world she knows all the ins and outs.
She’s clever, smart and I loved her self confidence. She’s sassy and feisty.
You will get no wilting mafia princess from her. She’s kickass and badass.
Takes care of her own problems. Speaks her mind. And absolutely won’t be pushed around.
Her and Illias are absolute dynamic together. They fit perfectly in every aspect.
Their strengths, their determination, their personalities are each others missing pieces.
They uplift each other, they give one another the boost that’s needed in their time of need.
And holy moly their physical connection is incredible! The passion with them is spectacular.
The lust is explosive. And they sizzle and ignite in full force. They are sexy and delicious dirty.
But all around them is secrets, lies, betrayal and danger. Backstabbing and distrust.
Even with all the turmoil and chaos going on.
They both consciously and unconsciously draw together. Each seeks the other out.
I enjoyed this book very much. And that cliffhanger has me salivating for more.
So I’m very excited for the next book and seeing what’s happens with this incredible couple.

Omg I love this universe. Honestly I think you need to read this world in order of release to not be spoiled by something. This is a new series. Thorns of Omertà first book is a duet instead of a standalone and it need to be. Tatiana and Illias story is so complex. This book was so good I couldn't put it down. This book has myster and we get to see the past through both POVs. It does end a cliffhanger and I can't wait for the second half.

THIS WAS SOOO GOOD. Konstantin ily❤️
So much past and present in this first book of the duet
There seemed to be a lot covered in this first book of the duet. There was a lot of 'memory' dialogue, looking back on past events in the perspective of the characters. It felt like it interrupted the flow and happened quite often.
I am moving straight onto book 2 and hope everything comes together.
I read on Kindle and read along on Audible. The voice actors were good. The Russian accent was overpowering at times.
