I can always count on Emily Henry for a light read that's full of wit and a few unexpected turns. Daphne and Miles are in the same boat. Their respective partners, friends since childhood, have suddenly realized their love for each other, leaving Daphne and Miles to flounder in the wake of this abrupt turn of events. As they begin to spend more time together, they start to discover the multitude of things they appreciate about the other person and the fears that hold each of them back.
I loved the banter between the two protagonists, and they were both charming and full of heart. The dialogue is quippy and humorous without coming off as cheesy. In every new book, in a genre that easily veers into the archetypal and sappy, Henry always manages to bring a fresh cast of characters and plot line in each successive publication.

I give up on Emily Henry, such a snooze, you could skip chapters and miss nothing…
Really enjoyed the reading. I want a Miles. What a guy!
Loved Daphne’s ending as well. What a diva!
Peter and Petra really deserved each other. Loved it how they couldn’t even stay together for a few months after all they’ve caused. Oopsie daisy, and then try to split my babes to get back with them like nothing happened, pfffff embarrassing.
