Reread this after reread TPYMOV. Though I enjoyed it, I wish the zingers and witty banter were between Daphne and Mikes instead of mainly from Daphne or Julia or Ashley.

Again, emotional baggage I was not super invested in.

Tropes: Fake relationship, roommates to lovers

Another Emily Henry book completely devoured and I’m left in a book haze. I absolutely loved this book— the trope was fun and the characters had some emotional baggage they worked out. I loved getting lost in this world!

My favorite Emily Henry book I’ve read so far!! I really enjoyed Miles’ character and how much of an open heart he had towards Daphne from the beginning. I think the only thing keeping it from being a 5 star read for me was that there were some bits that felt slightly too tropey, which probably has more to do with the fact I’ve read more romcoms lately than I typically do. Also I would have loved to see Peter’s life be completely ruined a bit more, that guy sucks.
