I enjoyed this book of hers much more than Credence. This one had just the right amount of spice and wasn’t taboo.

All in All, I really enjoyed this book. If you like a slow burn, this is the book for you. It was a little too slow burn-y for me, and felt like I was trying to skim through a lot of unnecessary story line to get to the point and then the end felt rushed. This was also not as spicy as I was anticipating and heard about. This is more of a romance with a few spicy pieces throughout.

of all of penelope douglas’s books, this has been the easiest to ingest.

i thought it was a fine book. nothing was overly spectacular. the FMC was a little “too perfect” in my opinion, but infinitely more likable that the female lead in credence.

quick and easy read

Why is this so fucking sweet I’m sorry. I know it’s kinda weird but I hate how I love this. First off, I want Pike. And…no I think that’s it. I fucking loved him even though he’s older.
The way he was quiet and cold, god I loved that. Then his protective and possessive side,YES. It’s a big yea from me.
I don’t think I found any flaws with this book really, it had a plot and was well written in my opinion. They were meant to be, from the very first time they met at the movies. This itched a spot in my brain. Thank you Penelope.
I loved this book.
