The only reason that this book is not getting a 5 is because I was kind of bored during the second story, but OMG the third one was my favorite and it was just beautiful.

I loved the Star Touch series so much - I desperately wish for Roshani Chokshi would write another for the series. The short stories are equally as beautiful and gave me a taste of what I’ve missed ... so I would settle for more short stories of this series. Must reads if you love the Star Touched series

A perfect companion to the two novels in the series. All your favorite characters return, even a strange horse you didn’t know you missed.

Three wonderful short stories about life, magic, love, and belief. I love stories that take place somewhere new and different. Having these stories take place in India and its mythology introduces me to a bigger world of tales and stories that I have yet to explore. Highly enjoyable, especially as we still get the feeling these are fairy tales at their finest, stories for almost stories sake.

I loved loved loved Roshani Chokshi.s books and I was thrilled at hearing there would be more stories in her world. These stories are magical and utterly enchanting. Chokshi’s writing is captivating and beautiful. Her world building is realistic and magical all at once. I recommend reading the books first before these stories, but this should definitely closely follow them!

I have to say that Roshani Chokshi continues to amaze me. The short stories in this book blew me away. I can't even pick a favorite because each of them have such a great message:

From the first story, Death and Night, you can learn that you should not let go of your convictions and ambitions for anyone, not even the person you love, Also, that you can. The second story, Poison and Gold, is all about learning to trust your instinct, forgetting prejudices, and even taking a leap of faith for love. The last story, Rose and Sword, shows you what happens after you think you have a happily ever after.

I think the book has epic love stories like few have ever read before. I am so grateful to NetGalley for sending me an eARC in exchange fo an honest review

I liked this the most out of all of the stories set in this world. There were great characters and stories that drew me in and were engaging. The romance was wonderful. I avoided this b/c the series was just alright, but I'm happy I picked this up.
