Can a person's perception of others change in three weeks? Yes. Even though Yaichi and Ryoji were twins, later in life they grew apart. Was it because of personally held beliefs or they were becoming too different from each other to understand?

This volume concludes the story of My Brother's Husband as it comes to a logical and heartwarming end , but sad. It is not very often that a graphic novel has such a subtle yet important message. Belonging, love, family.

Now I'm reviewing both of these, I can't remember which volume had which events because I read them back to back.

In this one, Yaichi starts to deal with his brother's death a little more as Mike talks about their life together. It's more than a little heartbreaking because Yaichi is growing as a person but his brother would never see it. It's really sweet to see him accepting Mike as his brother-in-law and I loved seeing him teaching Kana acceptance (though Kana is doing it far more for him).

A lovely end to the duology. 4.5 stars!

I would say that I read about one or two books a year that make me really emotional and this is easily one of them for 2018. I just finished it and I'm having a hard time quitting my sniveling. I'm sad that this series is only two volumes, but boy is it amazing and so heartfelt. The story is really beautiful, the characters are lovely, and the message is delivered perfectly. VERY well done, easy 5/5. *loudly blows nose*
