Loved it but the ending was pretty disappointing. Wished it wasn't the "and they lived happily ever after" kind of ending and rather a tragic one
I enjoyed the book, the characters were likeable. I do wish more would have been put into the end after all the build up

The story just goes on and on and on i couldn't finish the story. The starting made me feel excited about the story but the middle part of the story just made me so bored. I was yawning trying my best to stick up with story but i give up. Won't rate the story because i never reached to the end but wont forget to not pick this book for second time 🤦♀️

I listened to this as an audiobook on Audible. First and foremost the narrator was not good. Monotone and something about how she says the word “good” just really got under my skin.
This book started out so strong, hence the 3 stars. If it wasn’t for the beginning it would be a 2 star. It hooked me right from the get go but also left me wondering, where is this going from here? All throughout the middle, it was dull. Mostly talking about renovating her new house and loooord that’s not what I thought I was in for. I just felt like it dragged on and on. I liked her romance with Xander to spice things up a bit. The dog was the true highlight of the book and I had this sinking feeling that he was going to die. I would’ve been PISSED. Luckily he was fine. I was also able to guess who the killer was after a little while. I felt like the book was leading up to this great climax and the end scene wasn’t even that great. It ended so fast. I don’t know, it could’ve been better.

Decent first attempt at reading Nora, but I’d definitely READ this one instead of listening to the audiobook; the narrator was very bad and I think my perception of the book was definitely altered by it
Graphic: Rape, Torture, Stalking, Murder
