The writing style of the book seems to be the biggest let down of the entire concept. It is choppy and the characters reactions to what happens just feel so placid to the point where it is like they don't even care. It is really disappointing because with this concept, the author had a million different ways she could have approached this book and there was just so much material that the fact that the story fell so flat is really just an utter shame. I would say this book probably needed a dozen more rounds through editing or rewriting in order for it to feel like a better read. I see a lot of reviews that feel the same way so it really just is a shame that the writing ruined a really interesting concept that deserved to be written with purpose and talent. Maybe the author just was not the right person to tell this story because this was written poorly.
