I AM NOT OKAY. I AM NOT OKAY. The only reason why I keep reading this series is because I’m too emotionally invested in the characters and I NEED to know what happens to them.
Every page, every chapter is pure suffering from the characters and mine, but I cannot stop reading.
I am not saying that this book is bad or that the series is bad, not at all, my rant is only because it’s so good. Good writers make you feel things and This series has made feel sooo muuuch since I started reading it.
Since the first book, I felt so much for all the characters (except Marcus and the Commander, they can rot in hell for all I care), I cried and cheered for them (mostly cried), I have attached myself to them. Especially Helene, she’s my favorite character, she has grown so much, she’s so smart and loyal and she deserves so much better. I’m just sad that there aren’t more people in the world like her.

The final book is going to be so fucking good

(4.5)

Where’s the sequel? Because I need it now after A Reaper at the Gates went and crushed my heart. It’s so painfully good, full of action and darkness, recovery and loss, and the lengths that good people will go to protect others versus the lengths that villains will go to to achieve what they want.
