fucking immaculate.
i haven’t sobbed during a book in AGES but all the stuff about the mothers/daughters really got me and goddam at the sacrifices these poor characters have to make. i got chills almost every single chapter in the last 1/3 of the book.
also i def called cook being laia’s mother and i knew she would be the contact musa sent laia to and even though it was predictable it was still suck a raw twist
ALSO THE AUGERS BEING THE SCHOLARS THAT KILLED THE JINN WTF????? that was a twist i didn’t see coming at fucking all ????

and finally, harper and helene ❤️ i have been rooting for them from the beginning i love them so much and the angst is killing me please just BE TOGETHER

Would probably rate it just below 5 stars, only because as compared to the first 2 books in the series I found myself having a hard time following the different storylines when jumping back and forth so often. I think part of my problems would be alleviated if I was reading physical copies and could more easily reference the map, BUT I still loved it and I'm excited to read the final book. I found myself thinking about this book constantly when I wasn't reading it and now I'm almost afraid to finish the series because I'll miss it :(

i give all my heart to this saga i could scream so much i love everything about it.
i could talk about the characters for hours but one thing that i’ve always know is that elias veturius is the man of my life the king of my body and soul. there is no better man than elias veturius and that’s a fact. i have so much love for him i mean he is truly THE character for me and by saying that i mean that i have never l’ve never loved a character as much as him.
so please ***prayer circle*** and yes i talk to you elias you better survive in a sky beyond the storm bc if you die i die
im crying rw elias i love u sm ( im so pathetic i want to punch me in the face ) you will survive and be happy with laia it’s the only thing i want and you deserve so much all the good things in the world im djjdjd i just want him happy
ps : laia helene and harper i love u so much if someone dares to touch you i swear i will fight
