Thoroughly creepy, and exceptionally horrifying. Also--a pretty convincing warning against company towns. And cults in general. Because no matter how many drinks of psychedelic-laced wine they give you, there WILL be a sacrifice, and someone is DEFINITELY going to die.
While Linda, our protagonist, could be a little daft about the things happening around her, I still thought this was entertaining. I'm really interested in seeing this polished up now that it's been released.

It took about 50 pages and I almost gave it up but then I just couldn’t put it down. Is this book amazing? No. But poop if it isn’t fun! ( considering it’s about a cult corporation)

This felt like what would happen if the world was ending and the Real Housewives of whatever, created a cult and tried to “save the world and/or community.” It was an interesting concept for a book. It did take me a little to get into.
