Wow. I find the very idea of “unwinding” kids completely bonkers. Like I think life being able to be taken from kids 13-18 without their consent is crazy because at that point they definitely are conscious and able to have thought.
Anyways, I couldn’t put this book down. I loved the changing perspectives and how it all came together in the end. I’m excited to read the rest of the books in the series.
There was a point where the book goes through what unwinding is and it’s truly just heartbreaking.

Sorprendentemente bueno y original. Me ha encantado la trama distópica, es original y creíble desde un punto de vista realista. Los tres protagonistas son perfectos en cada uno de sus propósitos y sus historias duras y conmovedoras a partes iguales.
I don't even know what to say, because this book was effing fabulous. By far one of the best books that i have read. The concept was so different and crazy and the characters were amazing. I had to put the book down and walk around and listen to music TWICE, I couldn't handle it. I love how we get pushed right into an adventure from the very first page. I was NOT disapointed at all. There were no moments that i got bored it was all so fun and fast paced. and those plot twists tho like they killed me. This book killed me then revived me just to kill me again. I'm also glad that there wasn't much romance in this, i mean yea Conner and Risa kissed a few times and stuff but honestly that was all the romance there needed to be for me. I mean it would probably be cool to have some romance but the action and basically everything else made up for it. The ending was great like it was AMAZING i started to have anxiety I just couldn't handle it but overall It was a very satisfying ending. obviously i have more to say but i'm too lazy to type right now. but anyway this book was amazing and if you have not read it you need to right now i promise you wont be disapointed. <3
