The book that made me a reader as a teen.

I am always fascinated to read books by Neal Shusterman. He always deal with subject matter which are different and very interesting. It makes his books very refreshing to read. Enjoyed the first book in the Unwind series. Can't wait to pick up the next book .

I don't even know where to start with this book, it was sitting on my shelf for a good month before I picked it up. I have loved one of Neal's other books "Everlost" for a very long time and I knew I would like this one though I was sort of worried about it. But my worries were quickly put to rest. Not only is this book thought provoking and in my opinion very eye opening/ground breaking, it was also entertaining and highly disturbing.
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes dystopian novels.
Though, I can barely wrap my mind around it.
The idea of "unwinding", I shudder at the thought... but the worst part is, I could see something like this happening in the world, maybe not anytime soon but I wouldn't put it past the human race.
I love this book, I wish I had more to say but, I can't, I literally just put the book down and my mind is racing.
The last 100 pages, especially, well, you will see... have shaken me up a bit.

I decided to read this book after I heard some of my coworkers discussing. I was unprepared for how dark the material was. It seems so completely crazy that parents would ever choose the "unwinding" process for their teenage children. But it was a fascinating story, and I very quickly latched on to the characters, and was rooting for them the whole way to change this crazy policy.

My 8th grade English teacher read us this book in class and it never really left my head. I always wanted to reread it and continue reading the series but never did until now.
It really was just as good as I remembered. I love these kind of dystopian world books when they‰ЫЄre done well, and this one definitely is! Definitely want to read the rest!
