I really liked the storytelling of this book. It was intriguing that I wished it was a bit longer.

there is a lot packed into this short novella - the structure of the novella is very well done and interesting - as someone is literally telling a story to the other character and reader, there is a strong storyteller/fairytale/folklore feeling that I really liked

I enjoyed Cindy Kay's narration so much, but at the beginning the narration was difficult to follow because this was a new world and it had entirely new characteristics. It would have been easier if I'd been reading, and I am going to read the book now, because the world is so unique and masterfully crafted, the atmosphere mystical and almost cloudy in a manner.
