A satisfying conclusion to the Secret Series, striking a good balance of answered questions and continued ambiguity. Found the closing meditation on the soul-filling benefits of laughter and humor to be sincerely heart-warming, but love that the sweet was leavened with the usual snark of PB's narrative voice.

This was great, just as entertaining as the others, probably the most real. While the rest tended to be far fetched (but still good) this one felt authentic, it had serious moments, and a great ending.

I think the Secret truly knocked everybody off their feet. I was laughing.

As expected the secret was that great. Also some of these things are getting a little too nuts. Like, your children disappear to Vegas for a few days and when they come back they’re celebrated as heroes?

Giving this rating because I enjoyed myself relatively well, it’s the end of this first series I gotta, and one other reason but we’ll get there.

This book didn’t really feel all that high stakes, I didn’t know what was going to happen, but I figured that most people would survive. I didn’t think we’d get the secret.

There is a few things I did want to know, more about Cass’ backstory. Also I cannot lie, I wanted to know all of the characters real names.

I started really enjoying Daniel’s character, and I cannot believe him And Cass are bouta be step-siblings LOL. Also I didn’t think they’d sneak in Casa’ and Yoji’s crushes on each other like that but damn they did.

Also another book spent trying not to get arrested, a typical day for Cass, M-E, and Yoji.

Also it’s crazy how Ms. Mauvais was like THE big baddie (in all ways) of the series, and in this book you didn’t hear from her ONCE. It was crazy. I so think this book might’ve been the weakest of them all. But I still enjoyed it, just because it was page ended for this childhood series of mine.

ALSO I FOUND OUT MAX-ERNEST IS GAY IN THE NEXT SERIES???? AND GRANDPA LARRY AND GRANDPA WAYNE ARE GAY. AND THE ACTUALLY WRITER OF THESE SERIES IS GAY WITH A HUSBAND AND TWO KIDS????? BONUS POINTS JUST FOR THAT.

ALSO I KNEW M-E WAS GAY, HIM AND YOJI WAS ENDGAME!!!!!
