Junji Ito quite literally nailed it with Soichi!!!! To me, he’s probably the creepiest character (honestly more than Tomie which I know a lot will disagree) His anti-social, psychotic, sadistic personality but somehow also having realistic human traits like wanting to fit in, having FOMO, having crushes, and even… feeling touched (when he was given a slice of birthday cake by Michina)… that scares the shit out of me.

In terms of horror mangas, this is it. I would never EVER read a Soichi manga at night that’s for sure.
