This one surprised me a few times throughout. I enjoyed the wit and the slow moving romance.

3.5  /5⭐️ to sir phillip with love? more like get fucked sir phillip!!!!!! this is the book that i pray to shonda rhimes to make phillip a BETTER MAN!!!!! eloise deserved better omfg. this man literally needed a mother for his children after his first wife died and when he realized he also was super attracted to eloise he’s like perfect i can sleep with her whenever i want as long as she doesn’t talk to fucking much. BE SO SERIOUS!!!!!!!!

i LOVED eloise in this book so much. she is a little different than the tv show. for one, she doesn’t get married and actually turns down multiple proposals because she thought she would be a spinster with penelope and none of the men really made her feel anything. also with eloise, she loves writing letter to everyone in her family and loves to take care of people. a big reason for this is actually she was the one who was there when her father died (not anthony) and she cared for her mother.

back to hating phillip!!!!!!!! did this man even like eloise?????? or was he blinded by good 🐱!???????? he literally had an awful father and was severely abused and then he thinks he can turn around and be an absentee father, neglectful of his children because he didn’t want to end up like his father…ok i get that but still not an excuse. BE BETTER PHILLIP!!!!!!

and on that note ….were just going to ignore the fact that eloise literally did the math in her head and realized that the children were in fact NOT PHILLIPS?????? ma’am!!!!!!! god!!!!!! also marina UNALIVES herself in the start of this book because she had untreated  post partum which broke my heart. also the fact that the love of her life died before she realized she was pregnant and had to marry her love’s younger brother WHO IS OBSESSED WITH GARDENING AND SO SELF ABSORBED HE COUDLNT REALIZE HIS WIFE WAS STRUGGLING?????

GAHHHHHH!!!!!

ps. marina is actually related to the bridgerton and NOT the featheringtons.

This book is getting even 3 stars is bc of Eloise.
I read some of the reviews abt how he acted and I was like ok I’ll keep an open mind BUT NO THE MAN JUST KEPT GETTING WORSE AND WORSE this bitch threw a fucking tantrum like your a grown ass man grow the fuck up you little bitch. Honestly Eloise deserves better bc WTF I rly hope in the show they make him 100 times better. I understand that he didn’t wanna end up like his father but in a way he did bc he completely neglected his poor children even after their mom died like WTF. If he went to therapy it would have done wonders for him I’m serious.
