This was the cutest and funniest enemies to lovers I’ve read in a long time and the addiction representation was so well done. This whole book was Freaking perfect!
This was a cute quick read. Bea is a law school student with a pretty tight friend group and a mom who has been divorced and remarried many times. Two of her best friends are currently getting divorced which has definitely affected her. Nathan, is a family law attorney, who just so happens to be working her friend’s divorce. They are definitely enemies in Bea’s eyes at the beginning of the book
I loved how these two first met. I was laughing at Bea just storming into Nathan’s office to confront him. I also felt really bad for Bea. The author does a great job at clueing the reader in as to why Bea is so affected by what is going on with her best friends. She definitely has issues to work through about her mother. The dynamic between Nathan and Bea was great. Nathan is a good guy and it’s evident that he is intrigued by Bea right from the start. I loved how they kept finding themselves pushed together forcing them to interact.
Overall, this was a fun read. I loved how Bea was able to grow and heal a little bit through her relationship with Nathan. If you are looking for a quick, enemies to lovers romance definitely check this one out!
