Truly a one sitting, easy beach read: great chemistry, enemy-to-lovers, witty banter, a small dose of drama, and only 343 pages. Law student Bea is forced to work with Nathan Asher, the not unattractive divorce lawyer of her now ex best friend. They must navigate the palpable tension as they both deal with the complexities associated with a divorce between the couple that glued a friendship group together.

I couldn't stand Bea for 90% of the book. I don't usually mind a jaded woman, but she was just downright combative and angry most of the book. Nate on the other had was adorable.

This book is full of flawed and lovable people who are figuring out life as they go. At least Bea is. The characters are relatable. I LOVED the banter. And I cried. Please read.
