As the first book too, this is amazingly written. Easy to understand and very well thought through. The story was magical (not only in the way of them being witches) the plot twists, the characters and the writing overall made it a nice experience. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because it's a personal rating and I realised that the topic of witches isn't really mine.

Very quick to read and it kept me hooked. Great and satisfying conclusion to the duology.

Im still like mulling this read over and honestly it feels unfinished to me.  The way this ends albeit being a happy ending I just have a bugging feeling that it’s unfinished and it hasn’t gone away.

The characters are amazing and the plot twist with such an unexpected villain and I guess some redemption kind of arc of a villain from the first book definitely suprised me.

But overall these are good reads and would recommend.  They’re just not my all time faves as a duology. Just missing out on the five star that only all time faves get with me.

a brilliant sequel, loved all the twist and turns and seeing the other types of witches in this one. i also thought it dealt with grief and trauma well.
