Really didn’t like it that much to be honest. Every aspect of this book felt just not right enough. Didn’t feel that much the entire time I was reading this.

This book had a lot of promise, but it did not live up to the first book in the series.

Not as good as the first one, but still wonderfully cute and angsty. I liked recognizing the different YA books mentioned (okay, it only happened twice, but I recognized both of them, so I was abnormally proud of myself).

The perfect end to the These Witches Don't Burn series. As much as I love this series and the world, I'm kind of glad that it's only a duology (with a bonus novella) and not a trilogy, because I'm not sure either Hannah or I could handle any more loss.

I loved the development of the cross-clan Magic. Anytime the message is "we are stronger together than apart" is a good time to me. Also the message of "just because something or someone is different doesn't mean they need to be cured" is very, very good.

I know I should be writing a beautifully crafted review for this book. But all I’ve got is awe and sadness that it’s over! I loved every second of this duology and I could literally reread them right now! A more succinct review may come eventually .. for now, all I can do is give all the stars for these books!

The sequel was weaker than the first book, but not a lot. It was really good. I guessed one of the big plot twists, but overall the story was concluded very nicely.
