AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! I’m so glad I finally read this. This is the one I was the most excited about, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. I related more to Anthony and Kate than I did with Simon and Daphne. I definitely enjoyed both of their character development. There were several scenes in here that had my wee little heart melting, and I can’t wait for more of them in the other books. Overall, I give the book 4.75/5 stars, and I definitely recommend it. The only reason it isn’t a full 5 stars is because there were some things I didn’t like, but I enjoyed almost everything.

Trauma bonding

Huh, Kindle stopped to review before I got to the second epilogue that was added later, fascinating.

With the new season covering this coming out in March, I am ahead on Bridgerton and I liked this more than the first, partly because Kate isn't as daft as Daphne and Anthony's fear of mortality is very relatable. Very much looking forward to their verbal sparring.

Maybe Bridgertons should avoid meeting prospective romances in gardens though if they don't want to rush to the altar.
