These books are misogynistic trash. I hate that I'm addicted to them.

overall i had fun. it was very easy to read. i giggled and felt things (largely due to picturing Jonathan Bailey + Simone Ashley)
anthony was a very questionable character at times - stepping on kate’s hand + saying ‘I know my rights’ when kate wanted to abstain for a week but i did love him being a complete hypocrite and also how similar he & kate were.
Also, Kate’s main conflict being that Anthony is a whore she’s so real. ‘He would treat any woman well. And that’s the problem’ yasss
The rivals to lovers didn’t last too long which is fine because I like them as friends.

Horrible from beginning to end. Do not recommend at all and I really, really hope the second season manages to clean up Anthony’s character and make him somewhat decent because i certainly do not vibe with an abusive, manipulative fuckboy in desperate need for therapy.
It was beautifully narrated in audible, though 🤷🏻♀️

Definitely more problematic and less realistic than the first book. It's kinda weird that Anthony is the bad guy in the first book and this one (his own story) and I don't feel like he earned his redemption. Kate was a piece of work like Daphin and Simon but they never reached Anthony's level. I do love the two epilogues their so wholesome and sweet. Stand out parts for Colin and Newton.
