One this book took a turn of events. I did not expect it. Tristan is hilarious towards the ending of the book. His inner monologue on the boat had me laughing out loud. He’s already in Love with Mark but also falling for Isolde. I think it was Marks plan all along when he kept telling Tristan “ pretend to be me & give her anything she needs. That ending though? When Sedge tells Tristan about the cameras & Mark tells Tristan “ come along there’s plenty to discuss “

What was the actual plot of this book? It felt like a third of a plot. It was just emotional angst and kink. I should’ve just DNF’d it instead of pushing through

The way I devoured this on audio and immediately started the next one. Sierra Simone puts a certain kind of crack into her books, leaving me unable to focus on anything else until I've finished.

If you plan on reading the series, PLEASE read Salt In The Wound before this one, as it lays the ground work and you become even more invested in the characters. I couldn't get enough of Tristan and Isolde in this story and was glad to have someone holding my hand through it.

One of my favorite reads of 2025 so far. I am sure it will rank in my top 10 of the year. SOOOOOOOO GOOD! I highly recommend folks read this series. Salt Kiss is my favorite book of the entire series. To be fair though, the last book of the series hasn't been released yet, but will be later in 2025.

MUST READ!!!

I didn’t love this as much as “Priest,” but it was still a good time. I’m genuinely interested in the plot (which is not something I was expecting). Also, it’s so embarrassing that I had to Google three separate words while reading this. Why am I learning new words from these books? Anyways, I’ve purchased three more books from this woman. I feel insane. You’re welcome Sierra Simone.
