This was like my 8th Sierra book and the way she can just weave organized religion into the filthiest books is a talent. I loved New Camelot and this is very a similar relationship dynamics. I can’t wait for the next book. This series is giving New Camelot with Salacious Players Club vibes. Need more Isolde ❤️

MFM, bodyguard, love triangle, virgin FMC,

“I can’t taste the difference between her tears and the sea.”

Listen.

I was not expecting it to basically be ghost pepper hott, but wow. I would like to thank the audiobook. I will read a whole heap more.

Intruiging. I wasnt a fan of the narrator, but I love how Sierra Simone reflects adult agsnt without veering into self loathing to the point of annoyance. I love how the bodyguard is such a golden retriever, he's adorable.

I don't actually know the original story of Tristan and Isolde but I assume it wasn't this kinky

Review: 4.5 stars — Apparently I’m that girl.

I went into Salt Kiss fully expecting to remain composed, refined… a woman of literary taste and discerning sensibilities. But alas, turns out I’m just a hopelessly smut-loving gremlin who likes her spice with a side of emotional damage and a generous helping of morally complicated men.

Sierra Simone could write a grocery list and I’d probably blush. But this? This was artful filth. Tender, tangled, toe-curling smut layered with just enough myth and melancholy to make me pretend I was reading for the plot. (Spoiler: I was not.)

Was I emotionally compromised by a dom, a soldier, and a woman who gives zero f*cks but all the feelings? Yes. Did I read the whole thing in (almost) one sitting and then immediately Google “Tristan and Isolde BDSM fan art”? Also yes.

In conclusion: I thought I was better than this. I am not. And I’m not even sorry.
