Oh my daaaaaays. I loved this. Absolutely loved it. I loved the dynamic between Tristan and Isolde. Mark is a manipulative wankpuffin but naturally, I love him. Have the sequel ready to go but holding off until my holiday next month as don't want to peak too quickly given I have to wait a YEAR for the next installment.

I have mixed feelings about this book. the plot doesn’t thicken until about 70% in and before that ..there isn’t really a plot line? Just a bunch of sex and an icky virgin trope (I fucking hated that). But once the drama did start I was super invested? And almost want to continue the series ??? But now that I’m reflecting, was that even considered a plot ? LMAOOOO Ahhhhh i dont know.

I honestly have a hard time figuring out what to rate this. I was hooked so quickly by this book and couldn’t put it down but at the same time, I don’t really feel connected with the characters. I do enjoy the discussions on how Tristan is battle with his thoughts and emotions post military service. The dynamics between the characters are extremely interesting to see and the ending has me ready to sea the outcome for the boat trip.
