Oh, I looooved this. Visceral and emotional, can't get enough of Ira Rat's writing honestly. A great collection.

Rat lets us into these stories with the intention of letting us catch only glimpses. They're limiting and navigating our feelings, manipulating us to step into the shoes of a character with all the voyeurist guilt and sentimentality. Each story feels unique and I'm left in awe that no character feels like how I imagine the writer. There is no revelation, no tidy ending. And for that, I'm left wanting more
