I've loved every single part to this series. Silvera's writing never fails to make me cry. This book gave me the emotional rollercoaster I needed and I can't wait for the next one!

This book did not need to be so long. I loved the first two in the series, this one has too much childish drama and overreactions. The Y really stood out in this YA Drama

The second half went by quite quickly which means I was fully invested even though the first part was a bit slow. Liked the characters and their stories. The only moment I raised my eyebrows was

when Alano said he’d heard the secret when he was in the womb and remembered it….

Looking forward to the next book.

I am never disappointed by silvera’s writing or the good story I’m guaranteed when I pick up one of his books. this was an excellent story, and i’m blown away by how all of the old characters from previous books seamlessly give tribute to the new ones (it was rude to almost make me cry before chapter 3, but that’s besides the point). it was hard to read about the violent mood swings and jumping to conclusions when someone doesn’t text you back right away. that felt extremely childish and manipulative. but honestly, maybe that’s the point? by the end, we learned not to do that. which was a beautiful thing I was hoping would happen. I had no idea this book was going to lead into another one until I flipped that last page. so I am FULLY on board with the story we’ve set up here, I know it’ll be a good one.
