It was an enjoyable read and I liked the dynamic of the MMC and the FMC, but I feel like this book is just going to be forgettable, especially against Hooked which is still my favorite of the series

I love that these books are loosely based off of Disney stories. This one is based off of jasmine and Jafar from Aladdin but based in modern day and it's so good.

Slightly disappointed, I won’t lie I had high hopes and they were crushed 40% of the way in when I realised this wasn’t going to be even remotely as good as the others in this series. I got to the point were I would of DNF it if not for a friend saying they heard it got better and to just tough it out. Well I did and you know what it did in fact get better enough that I went from a DNF to a 3 star review. Unfortunately waiting till 55/60% of the way through to get interesting was too little to late for me.

Solid dark romance fairytale retelling. Not as creative as Hooked IMHO but still fun! Absolutely gobbled it.

Julian’s commitment to calling Aidan “the boy” throughout the entire book is unmatched - and we love a baddie with his snake - not gonna lie I hated Yasmin the first half of the book but she redeemed herself

dark romance.
a dark Jesmine and Jafar retelling.
forced marriage  enemies to lovers  age gap.
I dont get the hype around this story. Yes, it's spicy  Yes its racy, and yes, it had a merely Grey guy that would burn the world for her.
but I didn't see everyone loves this
Jasmine has no backbone and was pushed around.
this was a mix of cultures , and I had the feeling that once that it wasn't only Arabic.
it felt like a jumbled mess to me.

I’m not really an enemy to lovers reader and every book in the series is exactly that. There is constant hate sex which is not my thing. If it is it’s a perfect series for you just not my thing. The first book was the least hatety
