I really wanted to like this book. The summary sounded interesting and I liked the idea of the characters and plot. This is a book that wasn't for me. I struggled to get into it and I didn't care of the characters and what they were going through.

This was 4 stars until the last 3ish chapters. I'm not a fan of third act breakups to begin with but this one was especially frustrating bc it seemed so out of character for both of them. It also moved a bit quickly in my opinion. Otherwise, the story had me giggling, kicking my feet, twirling my hair, etc. so I’ll still likely pick up the next in the series.

Chloe Liese is now officially an auto-buy author for me!!!! Her books are  just what I needed to get me out of my slump. I love Bea and Jamie. I love the neurodivergent representation!! Chloe Liese you are a godsend. 5 stars ❤️
