Funny satisfying read...but I still wish that Roy's dad's real job was revealed, especially if he wasn't a CIA man. I guess I'll never know.

this book was great, there was so much going on, but in the end it all tied together. Save The Owls!!!!!

I don't know why I didn't like this more. Don't get me wrong, I really like owls. And saving owls. So I hesitate to say it was too didactic. It just didn't blow me away.

In all honesty, this book wasn't exactly brilliant to me. To be fair though, I was reading it in class with a teacher so that didn't exactly put a positive spin on it for me. I mean, the story was nice but I really didn't think it was something that a class should have to read together on that level. So it was nice, but not really what I was looking for in a book at the time.

I thought this book very well written. when I started reading this I would've never thought anything that did happen would. Hiassen kept the surprises going and the characters interesting. I look forward to reading other books by Hiassen.

"Roy still hadn't settled the argument between his brain and his heart."

Cute (because it involves teeny little owls) and quirky - consistent with the style of Carl Hiaasen. Very memorable characters.
