not too keen of this one, ngl. i didnt really care for the stories or the plot line of the “side” characters. i read through archie and jugheads and i couldnt handle the betty and veronica one. maybe my mindset from the show is effecting my opinion, but wasnt the biggest fan

So, this is yet another sampler, though it just continues the stories from the first volume. Kinda of a weird marketing tool and I don't think it works quite as well this second time. This volume also includes a one-shot that ties in directly to the TV show, giving you background on the infamous Fourth of July ditching of Jughead so Archie could [go be stupid].

Jughead Jones is forever my favorite. Although Josie and the Pussycats come in second. I will be buying the next volume of this. But first I've got to track down the first volume. Which my comic book store did not have sadly.

Archie - ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I didn’t enjoy this story as much as the first one but I did enjoy the humor and the friendships presented in the story. I lowkey ship Archie and Betty but we all know he ends up with Veronica. It still isn’t clear exactly what happened between Archie and Betty. The break up was never explained in the first one and it still is being brushed over.
Jughead - ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I think this story was definitely better than the first one in my opinion. I like the aspect of going into the future that was implemented in here. The humor was definitely more easy going and funnier.
Betty & Veronica - ⭐️⭐️⭐️
This one was kind of disappointing in the fact I gave their first short story 5 stars. I think this one had more setting up than storyline. Which in a way instead bad but it just left it incredibly dry.
Josie & the Pussycats - ⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was definitely a step up from the first story. The plot was more interesting, the characters were more likeable, and I want to actually continue reading them.
Reggie & Me - ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I like it to the point where I’m enjoying it but it’s missing something that makes me really enjoy it.

These stories were more setting up for what’s going to happen next. So this collection definitely fell under middle book syndrome.
