I enjoyed this sequel very much. I thought it was a great continuation of Ender's story, with some interesting new characters. I'll probably read the next book soon.

Very different from Enders' Game. The next 3 books of this series are somewhat less momentous individually but equal Enders' Game when read together

I really liked it. So different from Ender's Game but with thought provoking themes and great characters.

After 74 pages, I realized I still didn’t care about anyone or anything in the story.

This book is exceptional. Might be the best book I've ever read. The forward where Card explains the development of the wide cast of characters helped me to think so much deeper about each of their personalities. I love the way he writes internal dialogue and interpersonal relationships. It's just beautiful. And the way that he imagines interacting with an alien race, it's just so cool. I'll be recommending this book forever and ever.
