Not as good as Ender's Game but still a good read.

It was a rather good book. I liked the plot and cast of characters. I like that they extended the story of the Speaker of the Dead. I cannot wait to read the next book.

This is the sequel to Ender's Game and it’s actually much better than the first novel (though I liked Ender's Game a lot). I remember when the movie version of Ender came out and stories were reporting that Card is/was homophobic. It’s hard for me to believe the person that wrote this story would be so bigoted and myopic - if it’s true that is. Because this story is the very opposite.

I loved the continuation of Enders story and the add on of new characters in this book. I do feel at times the book became a little to descriptive and went to deep. I felt myself just skimming those parts of the story. I really love how we finally get to see Ender grow up and find his place. I can not wait to read the next book to find out what happens with the hive queen!

"Ender's Game" may be the most famous and beloved novel, but the "Speaker for the Dead" is the more mature story about ethics, religion, forgiveness, love and fear.

An excellent, moving book.

I loved, loved, loved this book. More than Ender's Game! Beautiful truth.
