if the apocalypse had to happen, i want it to go down with this band of characters. this book was amazing and honestly hilarious from start to finish, crowley and aziraphale the back and forth between these two and the unlikely friendship that they strike is just wonderful. but not only them even the other characters which make up the book each had their own impact on making this story enjoyable from start to finish❤️

I loved this book!!!
Aziraphale and Crowley are the most adorable couple ever. It was so funny and easily understandable.
Even the antagonists were cool to read about. Yuh, read it :)

I watched the tv series first, and it is 100% accurate to the book. I learned words I didn't know (ineffable), understood some of the jokes, was confused about others and just overall enjoyed the chaos of this cult classic.

Love the book, and it was fun to revisit it. The audio book was less than stellar though. Azaraphael and Crowley were spot on, along with a few other characters. But why did 11 year old Adam have a serious man voice? And the rest of the Them were just painful to listen to.

What can I say. It's Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. It's beautiful. It's genius. Most of all It's hysterically funny the whole way through. A fantastic read as per.

Ugh. What a pain to get through. I had to stop and restart this 4 different times and was so close to DNF. I had to remind myself every chapter that this was supposed to be humorous, but it wasn't for me. I could still give the show a chance as I love the actors, but this was painful.

I have been trying to finish this book for months. I'm not sure if I'm just not in the mood for it right now, but I made it about halfway and have been struggling to pick it up again.

DNF’d. I tried the audiobook and this is just not my thing. I don’t really like funny stuff and I was put off by it right away with the tongue-in-cheek nature of it and puns. The ideas and plot were great, just not into the humour.

I finally did it! I read Good Omens!
And I must say, it was delighful.
Hilarious, ridiculous, and absurd.
Also, having the audiobook narrator read to me while I followed along in a library hard copy is about one of the best ideas I've ever had.
