Wow, everyone in this book was so terrible that Richard came out looking the LEAST terrible, when he was the one who was terrible in the first place?

Sophie Kinsella is normally my go-to for something light, fun, funny, easy to read, and totally enjoyable. It's "chick lit", yes, but I need some chick lit to balance everything out. SK is my girl. Until now. This was light and easy to read, but it wasn't fun, funny, or totally enjoyable. There were far too little redeeming qualities of the characters to make me like them or feel like they were my best friends (which is what usually happens in Kinsella's books). The entire book was based around one couple's lust for each other. Lust and desire to finally have sex. That's it. Boooooooor-riiiiiiiing. It dragged on and on. Everyone ended with the person they should be with (yay!), but I couldn't actually feel much happiness for any of them because they all made stupid decision after stupid decision for the entire book (boo!). This one is only worth reading if you are insistent on reading all of Kinsella's book because you're like me and won't give up on an author who you normally love. Otherwise, stay away. Read "The Undomestic Goddess" or "Twenties Girl".

Not very compelling and definitely not as much fun as the first Shopaholic book.

Unrealistic plot lines that led to boredom.

Noah is the best character in the book.

A fun, chick lit novel, light hearted and cute. Enjoyed it.

This was my least favorite Sophie kinsella book. Everything felt so far fetched. The characters where manic and so unlikeable. I listened to parts of it and that didn’t help at all. Lorcan was the only high point and voice of reason in the whole thing.

3.5 Stars. This is the second book I've read by Sophie Kinsella, and it certainly lived up to "I've Got Your Number" in terms of laugh out loud moments and fun, over-the-top characters and scenarios. What took a couple of stars off for me was the fact that I didn't feel particularly attached to any of the characters and I thought the dual-perspective became a bit confusing because Lottie and Fliss were far too alike. Overall, it was a fun, feel good, summer read.

This was...not one of her best. I didn't find it amusing really at all and the characters were not at all likeable.
